Islamistiska tyska konvertiter häktade i London


Ett par tyska konvertiter fran
en liten salafistisk församling i
staden Solingen sitter nu häktade
i Storbritannien sedan de gripits i
granskontrollen i Dover. De hade
med sig bl a bombhandböcker och
subversivt islamistiskt material.

Författningsskyddet i Nordrhein-Westfalen
konstaterar att det finns minst 28 islamister
i omradet som anses som "särskilt farliga".
Flera av dem är konvertiter liksom tva av
de dömda i den s k Sauerlandligan.
De nu gripna är bada relativt ny-
konverterade och uppges tillhöra
"Deutsch-Islamische Zentrum"

German Muslim converts appear


Two German men appeared at a British
court on Wednesday after they were
arrested at an English port on suspicion
of terror offences.

Robert Baum, 23, and Christian David
Erkart Heinz Emde, 28, were detained
at the southern English port of Dover on
July 15 after they were found with computers
which allegedly contained ideological material
relating to Islamist extremism.
**
The two Muslim converts were charged
on Tuesday "with the collection or
possession of information likely to be
useful to a person committing or preparing
an act of terrorism, contrary to Section
58 of the Terrorism Act 2000".
The pair were remanded in further custody
and will appear again at London's City of
Westminster Magistrates' Court on August 24.
